The 37th Dunn Tire Mountain Goat Run is in the books and reports from participants indicate it was a great day. Conditions were warm but not humid and some cloud cover during the middle of the race helped get people back to Clinton Square.

There is energy around the "Old Goat" - you can feel it when runners queue up to the starting grid. This is an event with a rich history that rarely disappoints in creating an accomplishment or story to tell. For these reasons, the Goat remains a favorite among participants and spectators alike.

So what happens next? The Mountain Goat Race Committee will meet in less than two weeks and discuss this year's event and make recommendations on changes for future Goats. After a quick summer off, the race committee will start planning for next year starting in September.

Meanwhile the Mountain Goat Board of Directors is scheduled to meet in August to discuss long term issues with the race, any changes that need to be made, future investments into the race and to set a budget for the 2016 event. The Goat Board really wants to grow the event and you can expect some announcements come fall about some exciting changes to make the Dunn Tire Mountain Goat Run even better.

Hi there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any poemlrbs with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing months of hard work due to no back up. Do you have any methods to stop hackers?
