Miller Lite Post Race Party Adds a Food Court

One of the additions the Mountain Goat Run has made this year is at the Miller Lite Post Race Party. A food court has been added to supplement the usual free race food available, which includes bagels, fruit, Lay's potato chips, cookies and recovery drink.

The food court will be set up right on Clinton Street and feature Columbus Bakery, Café Kubal, Skippy's Ice Cream and The Cajun Café. Pre-race and post-race coffee is available from Café Kubal and Columbus Bakery will have meatball sandwiches in famous Columbus Bakery bread points and fried dough, ummmm, fried dough!


The Cajun Café from our friends at Operation Southern Comfort, who operate theannual Crawfish Festival, this Saturday in Clinton Square are setting up shop with great Cajun food at the Mountain Goat including:

  • Jambalaya, with sausage and chicken
  • Grilled Mexican corn, lightly rolled in chipotle mayo and parmesan cheese
  • Soft tacos - flour tortillas filled with chicken or vegetables, shredded lettuce, cheese, tomato w/ a dollop of guacamole and sour cream
  • 12" flour tortilla stuffed w/ grilled chicken or vegetables, Mexican rice, lettuce, cheese, tomato, guacamole and sour cream - choice of mild, medium or hot salsas
  • Hot dogs
Now on to the Party...
The Miller Lite Post Race Party featuring the Fulton Chain Gang begins at 11:45 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m. Free Miller Lite beer and other Miller products will be available to all participants and volunteers over 21 years old who show a legal photo ID at the ID station in Clinton Square, located near the beer station. Participants will be served one beer at a time and if you are having a few, we recommend arranging for a designated driver. Non-participants can purchase beer after showing a legal ID.
