What You Need to Know for Race Weekend

Can I still sign up?

 

Yes, sign up online until noon on Thursday and then Friday and Saturday at the packet pickup at Fleet Feet Sports at 5800 Bridge Street in DeWitt. If you miss all of those opportunities, come to the City Hall Commons in Hanover Square on Sunday starting at 8 a.m. 

 

What is the schedule?

  • Online registration ends on Thursday at noon
  • Registration and packet pickup - Fleet Feet Sports - DeWitt location only - Friday 12-7 and Saturday 9-4
  • Mountain Goat Expo - Fleet Feet Sports - DeWitt location only - great closeout deals - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Registration and packet pickup -City Hall Commons atrium - Sunday 8-10
  • Half Mile Kids Race - 9:15 am
  • 3k Run/Walk - 9:40 am
  • 10 Mile Mountain Goat Run - 10:20 am
  • Michelob Ultra Post Race Party featuring Benny Mardones-11:30 am to 1:45 pm
  • Awards at 12:40 pm

What refreshments will be available?

 

Pre-race water will be available.

 

Post-race will feature the usual free food options of bagels, fruit, cookies, chips, etc.  In addition, Lady Bug Lunch Box and Shattuck Paddywagon Food Trucks along with Skippy's Ice Cream will be available for purchase.

 

Michelob Ultra and Shock Top Beer will be available free to all participants 21 and over. Participants must show legal ID at the ID station near the beer truck to obtain a wristband. Spectators should also go to the ID station, show legal ID, and obtain a wristband which allows them to purchase beer tickets.

 

What are the awards and where can I pick them up?

 

Click here for a full description of awards, cash prizes, and age group awards. All awards can be picked up at the award tent just in back of the main stage on the Salina Street side.

 

All finishers of the 10-mile run will receive a special edition Dunn Tire Mountain Goat Run medal at the finish line. All kids in the 1/2 mile race will receive a kids' medal. Ten-mile medal winners can go to Fleet Feet Sports (Clay location only) for a free medal engraving from 3 - 7 p.m. on Monday.

please go back to shirts for all participants as it is better in my humble opinion than medals for all. Time goals give you training goals and race goals. You can wear your advertisement, I mean shirt, all year. Who runs around wearing a medal all year? Shirts are also more useful than a backpack.

Thanks for your post. I would also like to say that a health inunsarce broker also utilizes the benefit of the actual coordinators of your group inunsarce. The health agent is given a summary of benefits sought by individuals or a group coordinator. What a broker really does is hunt for individuals or coordinators which often best match up those wants. Then he provides his advice and if both parties agree, the actual broker formulates a contract between the 2 parties.
